The Wonders of Klang. Yumm Yumm !

Klang is one of the places in Malaysia where cheap and delicious food can be found and enjoyed by all walks of life. In Klang, there are all kinds of food and dessert, that whatever you named it, they have it. We have various types of cuisines, for instance Malay, Chinese, Indian, Western, Korean, Japanese, Thai, and even Indonesian cuisine.

Malay Cuisine

Claypot Asam Pedas @ Bukit Kuda

Claypot Asam Pedas is one of the well-known Malay cuisine. They are famous for their various claypot asam pedas. The spices used are complicated and its mouth watering. So darn good!

Nasi Lemak is one of the traditional malay food which is well-known in the WORLD. It may sound as though I'm exaggerating, but it's the truth. Whenever a person talks about the food in Malaysia, the first thing that strikes their mind is the famous Nasi Lemak. The fragrance of the Nasi Lemak is really good because they use coconut milk to cook the rice and coconut is one of the main ingredient in making Nasi Lemak. One of the famous Nasi Lemak here in Klang is the Nasi Lemak Lido.

Mouth watering already? There's more to come. Yumm!!

Chinese Cuisine

Sami Bah Kut Teh @ Pandamaran, Klang.

Sami BKT is one of the well-known BKT in Klang. They're famous for their individual bowls serving of BKT. Though their soup is limited but its definitely worth the time waiting for a place to sit because their restaurant is always packed. Often had I have difficulty getting to eat it as they run out of it very quickly. It's definitely a must to try it if you ever planned to visit Klang.

Besides BKT, 'Yao Yao Ping' is also one of the 'always packed' restaurants in Klang.

If you're a food adventure and you love discovering and trying new things, you should totally drop by these places. It's a guarantee that you won't regret it.

Indian Cuisine

Indian Cuisine in Malaysia is none other than Banana Leaf Rice and 'Mamak' food. Banana Leaf Rice is actually rice with few main course dishes, curry (mutton, chicken or fish) and 'Papadam', an indian spiced crackers, served on Banana Leaf. So you see the connection? Banana Leaf Rice hahahahahahahahhaa

Kanna Curry House @ Bukit Tinggi, Klang

Banana Leaf Rice with mutton curry

Kanna Curry House's mutton curry is the best! They really deserve a thumbs up! Besides Banana Leaf Rice, Mamak food is the most wanted food in Klang, especially for supper. Mamak is a place for everyone to hang out whether to do their catching up or even to watch football. Most of the Mamak has a big screen at a corner to play the football match LIVE. Shanmuga is one of the mamak shops which is ALWAYS-and-EVERYDAY packed restaurant. They have few branches in Klang, but they are equally doing very well.

Examples of the most wanted Mamak food is roti canai, tosei, mee goreng mamak, MAMAK FRIED CHICKEN, mutton curry, nasi lemak, roti planta, naan and etc. 'Teh Tarik' goes really well with those food mentioned above.

Western Cuisine

Western Cuisine is an all time favourite i would say. Well, maybe for a person who loves watching Jamie Oliver prepare is meals in 15 minutes. Hahahahahahahaha And my all time favourite will be Burgers. :D I have a big appetite, but my stomach capacity is very low. That's so sad. Anyway, Burgerland is one of the well-known restaurant in Klang, which serves mainly burgers. There's others as well, but mainly burgers. Burgerland is one of the place i hang out quite often when I go back during the weekends. Their service is really good and its taxs free! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Who doesn't love tax free food right?

Burgerland @ Bandar Botanic, Klang

Sleeping Jane

Sleeping Jane is my favourite in Burgerland. hehe. The cheese, onion and the grilled chicken in the middle just makes it really unique. Unique as in the flavours POPS in your mouth and its irresistably good! It's so good that it is irresistable. hahahahaha I may sound as though i put in so much exaggeration but no. It's seriously good.

Those are the instax pasted on the wall in Burgerland of customers enjoying their meal with their loved ones. It's pretty creative though! I've never come across restaurants using instax as a decorative material. Burgerland is the first one I've seen so far.
Are you still reading? There's more! :D

Japanese Cuisine

Funa is one of the oldest Japanese restaurant in Klang. Though its a little pricey, they serve high quality Japanese food.

Funa @ Jalan Istana, Klang

Inari

Unagi Don

The above are my two favourite Japanese food.. hehehehehe

I just love watching Food Network. Makes my mouth watered yet i can't taste it. But it makes me wanna try out those recipes. Before my major exam in 2013, i was a person who doesn't even know how to fry an egg, and I'm proud to say it. For the past 5 months before i started college, I've Brushed up my cooking skills from a person who's afraid of hot oil to a person who doesn't care about getting a slight burned as long as your food taste good. I was so into cooking that I always look forward to going to the hypermarket to get my ingredients and get down to business! HAHAHA The fun part about cooking is that you know what ingredient goes well with it and you just throw in whatever you feel like putting in. While it's on heat, the smell of the spices just bring I'm a person who loves food adventure especially when it comes to Western and DESSERTS. If you had noticed, i blogged more on Western food than the rest. Yes, I'm bias. HAHAHAHA I LOVE JAMIE OLIVER AND GORDON RAMSAY.

I guess that's all for now. For the other cuisines in Klang, I've not gotten the chance to really taste the food yet. Will update you guys more about Klang soon! Hope you enjoy reading and getting know how awesome Klang is. Have a great day ahead! :D
